Christmas 2008

I made the kids get dressed up to take a christmas picture even though I was way too late to make cards. So, Merry Christmas Everyone.

Christmas was a lot of fun. Porter did not really know what was going on when he woke up. He was cranky (as always) and begging for cereal. So, as I got the cereal for him, he dragged himself into the front room and saw the toys that santa had left. He kept looking at me to see if I was going to stop him or if he was in trouble for playing with them. Finally he Says "look mommy tools, for me" Then we explained that Santa must have come and he says "oh, Santa did he bring me candy?" It was a lot of fun. so, 2 1/2 hours and 4 poopy diapers later (yes 4, I love my baby girl but she really knows how to poop) we had opened all of the presents. They wanted to play with each one before opening the next gift it was a lot of fun. I was glad to be home and not traveling for Christmas even though we did miss the Bybee family.

I am so behind

Ok time to play catch up, I posted halloween, then we were gone 4 out of 5 weekends in november to Idaho for homecomings, weddings, and of course thanksgiving. It was exhausting but it was really fun to see everyone up there and let the kids play with their cousins. I am now working in the float pool at work which just means I am no getting paid better to go to all of the floors I used to go to anyway when they needed someone to float. I now just go there more often. Aaron is still looking for another job and the job market really sucks right now. So, if anyone knows of a great job in healthcare administration or anything analytical let us know. But while he has been home more he has had time to remodel the kitchen finally and we are now almost done except a few little paint touch ups and the floor that we are waiting for my dad to have time to put in.

this is a picture of the destruction, a picture will follow of the final project hopefully soon.

Halloween critters

Porter wanted to be a "really big cricket" for halloween. So, I made him a cricket costume. He hated it. He would throw the biggest tantrum about putting on his costume. When we finally talked him into it he was upset that the wings didn't work. He would run and hop but couldn't fly and would get mad and want them off. Addy on the other hand was a ladybug and she even sat still to put make-up on her face. They are so different. But, we had a lot fo fun at the ward party, the neighborhood party and halloween. I was working that night so, Aaron took the kids to Pat and Becca's trunker treat, then when i got off work we went trick or treating in the neighborhood. The second house Porter fell and got a bloody nose. He did not want to stop so we didn't and everyone thought it was just part of his costume. but they got a haul, and it was a lot of fun. (the other little girl is Kaylee one of Porters girl friends, she was a fairy)

our little helper

I love watching Porter help Aaron mow the lawn. The funniest part is when Aaron gets in the way and Porter looks at him like move it , I am working here Porter also likes to help Aaron drywall the back porch. Porter holds the screws and continually repeats here you go daddy, here you go daddy until Aaron grabs it and says thank you then Porter will say kelcome daddy and pullout another screw and repeat. This goes on way longer than Aaron would like it to. But he is a good dad and lets Porter think he is a necessary part of the process.

so frustrated

Adalynne has been attempting to crawl for the last month. She just keeps going backwards which means getting stuck under couches, beds, table, and never getting to where she wants to be. After a few minutes of trying to reach her goal destination and getting further and further away she just starts screaming. I really don't blame her.

The super pooper part II

So,chapter one part II: We went to walmart a couple weeks ago and as I was getting Addy out of the car I noticed she had thrown up on me (it was dark). But as we entered the store I realized that oh no she had pooped all over me and herself. And of course I do not have any diapers or wipes. Aaron was with me so he went and bought diapers and wipes as I went to the bathroom with our daughter and gave her a sponge bath with paper towels. The strap on the baby changer was broken so I was holding her on and reaching with me extremely long reach to the sink and the papertowel holder. Aaron finally came with the diapers and called into the bathroom "I am here" so I took off my poopy shirt (luckily I had a shirt less pooped on underneath) and grabbed the naked baby and to get the supplies. Diaper on we went through the store getting an outfit for the naked baby and a new shirt for the stinky mommy. the trip to walmart that was suppose to be for wipes, and visine took waaaaaay longer and cost waaaaaay more than it ever should have thanks to my super pooper.
Chapter 2 part II: I was picking up the kids and packing them in the car but I was in a really big hurry. I picked up Addy off of the front room rug and she had left a huge pile of poop for me. so in a hurry I took her pants off and her diaper washed her bottom in the tub and threw a diaper on and buckled her into her seat. leaving poop all over the house to clean up when we got home.
Chapter 3 part II: we were getting ready to leave Church the other day and one of my Young Women was playing with Addy. She brought her over to me and wow she stunk, I lifted up her dress and she had pooped all up her back to her neck. So, I hauled her home trying not to touch her back side and threw in the shower yet again. She really is the best baby but she is a littl too good at poopn'. Addy darling we love you.

it is hard to leave

The other day at work was so awfull I really did not want to go back. When I came home Porter was so excited to see me and climbed on me all night. In the morning when I had to back to work the kids were sleeping and of course I thought it was so cute I took pictures. Then they both woke up, Addy as usual was full of smiles and Porter was whinning "No Mommy common" pushing my head on the couch to watch cartoons with him. He started crying when I left. I was pretty close to tears myself but luckly it was a much better day at work even though I would have rather laid down with Porter and watched cartoons.

Family Vacation

The Weaver Family all went on vacation to Driggs Id. We all stayed in a cabin and hung out for a few days. It was a lot of fun getting to know everyone better. Thank you Grandpa Weaver for teaching us all a little bit about golf. I know that Aaron and my swing has greating improved. We had fun 4 wheeling, hiking, and playing badmitton around the cabin. We went and hit a few buckets of balls, hiked around Grand Targee, and went rafting down the snake in Jackson. It was a really good time but mostly because we were all (or most of us) together. Here are some pics.
The cousins had a great time together and were encouraged to share more than they wanted.

All of the kids were really excited.

Adalynne was such a good girl. I really did put sunscreen on her but she still got red cheeks.

grandma wasn't too sure about the 4 wheelers but dad insisted and she came back driving it so I think she liked it.

these are some of my favorite pictures.

This is the family portrait thanks Stac.
It was a really fun time thanks to MOM and DAD for providing the opportunity and Melissa for planning it all.
