So much fun

WE had a huge birthday party for all of the cousins that had birthdays in Feb, march, and April (4) on the weaver side. thanks to everyone that came, esp, those who came down from Idaho to celebrate with us. Everyone was splashing and swimming and jumping off the diving board. Stacy's pork tacos were amazing and the kids enjoyed decorating their own cupcakes and playing in the loft. Thanks mom and dad for letting us destroy the house. It was a lot of fun.

everyone had a buddy

Brody was a little nervous at first

everyone loves cupcakes with frosting

a house full of sickies

To start out with the kids had shots a couple weeks ago so about 1 week ago the fevers began. the whining the mommy i wanna hold ya, the runny noses (they are constant though). then Aaron started feeling sick with a sore throat. Well, Aaron knows that he is allergic to milk esp. when he is sick what he didn't know is that the whey protien shake he was drinking as part of a new diet was the actual protien that he is allergic to. So, after drinking one of his shakes while he was sick he puffed up like the stay puft marshmello man, and was having difficulty breathing. Instead of going to the ER at which he was right across the street he decided to go the outpatient pharmacy and get some benadryl. Luckily it worked in time so his throat did not close off completely. But his face was puffy all day. And he did see a doctor and he did have strep throat. That night Porter woke up puking up his guts and screaming, freaked out like he was loosing himself. this happened a few times and when I ran out of blankets and linens for his bed he slept with me. He was sauna. He continued to have a fever and throwning up the next day. which is when I noticed Addy's eyes were full of sticky yellow discharge and had a rash all over her belly. I sighed and made and appointment with the pediatrician. Aarons and Addy are on abx. Porter just had a 24 hour bug. Everyone is better now. Yeah!!!

Its a celebration

Adalynne turned one on sat. the 28th. So, we went out for breakfast then to my parents house to swim since our power was scheduled to be out for the day. We had a lot of fun swimming and playing with grandma and grandpa. Then, on sunday we had a birthday party with cake and icecream. It was a great time. Poter helped with the cakes and helped open presents, and play with the gifts, what a good helper.

the saddest part is the dress she is wearing is one of my favorites and the zipper was stuck and we could not get it off of her before the cake, so we left it on then cut it off afterwards.

the update

So my father was able to come down and install our floors last week, and I love them so much. The kitchen is not finished yet, there a few more finishing touches. But, the fridge is in the kichen and the dishwasher is installed. And MY FLOOR IS NOT HELD TOGETHER WITH DUCT TAPE. YEAH!!!

all worth it

We went snowboarding on Friday and it has definitly been too long. Between being super duper pregnant and having little kids and no money I havn't been as much as I would like. So, we got up on the mountain and I remembered my feet have grown since I had Addy and my snowpants aren't really water proof any more. So, I didn't wear socks and just delt with the wet. The first run was a little slow and challenging but, by the end of the day I was back in the groove (too bad it takes so long). Regardless, it was so fun and so great to be back on the hill. Now, I am just a little sore. Still worth it.

playing all night

We had a party last night for my brother Jake because he is going to Korea to teach english for 6 months. It was a lot of fun, my brother Billy brought his x box and rock band. it was great my parents watched all of the kids and the "adults" got to play rock band all night. My nephew was the funniest though, he is 5 and knows all of the words to eye of the tiger and belts it out. Aaron was a little shy and stuck strictly to the drums and guitar. It was fun.

A couple of weeks ago we let Porter get all of his trains out. We don't do it very often because our house is not big enough to have it set up for very long, and to get it out and put it away is a lot of effort. But, he knows it is a very special day when we do get it out and he stays up longer than I would like to play with his trains.

Then, last week we had Porter's friend Kaylee over and they made cookies. They are so funny together. I was giving Adalynne a bath because she was covered in banana when I heard giggling behind me. I looked back and the two of them were stripped down to nothing at all and they both smile and said "I wanna get in". So, I laugh and sigh all at the same time and throw them all in the tub together. They had a good time splashing and laughing. The hard part is getting them all out. So, I got adalynne out and a diaper on her, then the other two in towels and as I was getting diapers for them they decided to drop the towels and jump on Porter's bed. All I could think was the blackmail pictures would be great but I don't want them to pee all over the bed while I get the camera, and I hope James (her dad) will let her come back over to play. So, I got their diapers on and it was all good.

Christmas 2008

I made the kids get dressed up to take a christmas picture even though I was way too late to make cards. So, Merry Christmas Everyone.

Christmas was a lot of fun. Porter did not really know what was going on when he woke up. He was cranky (as always) and begging for cereal. So, as I got the cereal for him, he dragged himself into the front room and saw the toys that santa had left. He kept looking at me to see if I was going to stop him or if he was in trouble for playing with them. Finally he Says "look mommy tools, for me" Then we explained that Santa must have come and he says "oh, Santa did he bring me candy?" It was a lot of fun. so, 2 1/2 hours and 4 poopy diapers later (yes 4, I love my baby girl but she really knows how to poop) we had opened all of the presents. They wanted to play with each one before opening the next gift it was a lot of fun. I was glad to be home and not traveling for Christmas even though we did miss the Bybee family.

I am so behind

Ok time to play catch up, I posted halloween, then we were gone 4 out of 5 weekends in november to Idaho for homecomings, weddings, and of course thanksgiving. It was exhausting but it was really fun to see everyone up there and let the kids play with their cousins. I am now working in the float pool at work which just means I am no getting paid better to go to all of the floors I used to go to anyway when they needed someone to float. I now just go there more often. Aaron is still looking for another job and the job market really sucks right now. So, if anyone knows of a great job in healthcare administration or anything analytical let us know. But while he has been home more he has had time to remodel the kitchen finally and we are now almost done except a few little paint touch ups and the floor that we are waiting for my dad to have time to put in.

this is a picture of the destruction, a picture will follow of the final project hopefully soon.

Halloween critters

Porter wanted to be a "really big cricket" for halloween. So, I made him a cricket costume. He hated it. He would throw the biggest tantrum about putting on his costume. When we finally talked him into it he was upset that the wings didn't work. He would run and hop but couldn't fly and would get mad and want them off. Addy on the other hand was a ladybug and she even sat still to put make-up on her face. They are so different. But, we had a lot fo fun at the ward party, the neighborhood party and halloween. I was working that night so, Aaron took the kids to Pat and Becca's trunker treat, then when i got off work we went trick or treating in the neighborhood. The second house Porter fell and got a bloody nose. He did not want to stop so we didn't and everyone thought it was just part of his costume. but they got a haul, and it was a lot of fun. (the other little girl is Kaylee one of Porters girl friends, she was a fairy)
